Free image of a tortoise hanging out on a sidewalk. This picture was taken on a sunny spring day, and I think this guy was attracted to the warmth of the cement. I thought it was a turtle, but a passing child corrected me and said it was a tortoise because of the points on the tail (which are barely visible in this photo.) Free image for any use.
-Update. Further research indicates that this might actually not be a tortoise, but rather a common snapping turtle (Chelydra serpentine.)
